Oppo Reno10 Pro:review

Oppo Reno10 Pro

Introduction

After the May debut of the Reno 10 series in China, Oppo is now expanding the family globally, beginning with Malaysia. European nations should also be gradually adopting the approach. There are three different Reno 10 models in total: plain, Pro, and Pro+. It is important to note right away that the international models differ slightly from the Chinese ones. Particularly, while the Pro+ is the same, the specs for the vanilla and the Pro change slightly.

Today’s review will focus on the international release of Reno10 Pro. In terms of its design and a number of its specifications, it differs significantly from the Chinese version of the same name.

Based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, the Malaysian Reno10 Pro is primarily a mid-range to upper-midrange smartphone. The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset is used in the Chinese version, in contrast. The 6.74-inch display on the Chinese model appears to be slightly larger and better, but the one on the international edition is in no way subpar. It boasts a display size of 6.7 inches, 10-bit color, HDR10+ support, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum stated brightness of 950 nits.

The amazing camera system looks great on paper, but nothing has changed. A 50MP primary camera (with OIS), a 32MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide camera are all included in the Reno10 Pro’s system. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.

We’ll get to all of it, though. Let’s start by opening the Oppo Reno10 Pro box.

Unboxing

Two pieces of rather thick and robust cardboard are used to package the Reno10 Pro. In our opinion, the color scheme of the box is a little basic, but it is really a minor quibble. The retail package’s flawless performance in securing the phone is what matters most.

In terms of accessories, there isn’t much to say. The USB Type-A to Type-C connection and charger for the Reno10 Pro are included. That’s about it, though; there isn’t a case or anything similar. There is a plastic screen cover already on the phone.
